Plain English Summary: KyneticCare collects only the data necessary to connect families with caregivers safely. We never sell your data. Your health records stay private. You can request deletion at any time.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us (name, email, phone number, government ID for caregivers), information generated through your use of the platform (care logs, GPS check-in data, booking history, in-app messages), and technical data (device type, IP address, browser type, log data). We never collect health records directly โ€” care log entries are created and controlled by the caregiver assigned to a shift.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: match families with appropriate caregivers, process and secure payments via escrow, send notifications about upcoming shifts, medication reminders, and care log updates, verify caregiver identity and credentials, provide customer support, improve our AI matching algorithms with anonymised aggregated data, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information with: caregivers assigned to an active booking (client name, address for shift only), payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe โ€” PCI-DSS compliant), background verification agencies (CIBIL, AuthBridge), cloud hosting providers (AWS, under strict data processing agreements), and government authorities when required by law.

4. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. Health log data is stored in isolated, access-controlled databases. Our systems are audited quarterly by independent security firms. Caregiver location data is purged from live systems within 48 hours of shift completion, with anonymised records retained for 12 months for platform improvement.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after deletion, as required by Indian financial regulations. Care log data is retained for 7 years for medical-legal compliance. You may request deletion of non-regulated personal data at any time by contacting privacy@kyneticcare.in.

6. Your Rights

Under PDPA (India), GDPR (EU clients), and applicable state laws, you have the right to: access a copy of your personal data, correct inaccurate information, delete non-essential personal data, opt out of marketing communications, and request data portability in machine-readable format.
